Generally, we are in the South East of England in East Sussex near the Kent border, just off the A21 which runs from London to Hastings and 20 minutes from the Coast.

We are 20 minutes drive from Hastings and 20 minutes from Tunbridge Wells and 1 hour from the M25.

If you do not have a car and are coming by public transport, the nearest main line station is Robertsbridge which is 3 minutes walk away.  Woodside B&B is 8 minutes drive from Robertsbridge Retreat at Cornhill

LOCAL DIRECTIONS FROM A21

From Flimwell crossroads heading towards Hastings carry straight along the A21 through Hurst Green, when you see the signpost to Robertsbridge at the roundabout, turn right and head up the High Street.  When you see the butchers on the right, take the turning immediately after, signposted to Robersbridge Station, this is Station Road.  On the left you will see the village car park and club - diagonally opposite you will see a double fronted White House and to the left of this a hedge - between the two is a small private road.  Take this entrance and Cornhill, the converted mill, can be found immediately on the right hand side.

From Battle head towards the North end of the town (opposite end to the Abbey).  At the roundabout at the top of the High Street, take the diagonal right hand turn and follow the road until you meet the A21 at a large roundabout (Johns Cross Roundabout).  Turn left, towards London, the first turning on the left is signposted Robertsbridge.  Take this turning and head down the High Street.  You will see the butchers on your left and Station Road is immediately in front of it.  Follow directions as above.
